I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

I've learned that not knowing who you are or where you're supposed to be is okay. Sometimes, being lost is part of the journey. Sometimes, when you're lost is when you find yourself. I've learned that chaos is good. Chaos means your life is changing.

I've learned that sometimes, you have to hit rock bottom, in order to build a strong foundation for the rest of your life.

I've learned that expectations lead to disappointments.

I've learned that you'll be a lot happier if you take a situation for what it is, instead of what you thought it should be.

I've learned that it's okay to say no.

I've learned that it's okay to let go of things that are no longer serving you. Whether it's a friendship, relationship, or your job. Things come into our lives at a specific time and leave when they've taught us what we need to know. We have to let go of the old, in order to make room for the new.

I've learned that everyone is trying their best. We all make mistakes, but that doesn't make us bad people. It makes us human. Judging people and following the crowd is the easiest thing in the world to do. Standing out and making a difference takes courage.

I've learned that everyone deserves to feel loved, including myself. We tend to accept the love we think we deserve.

I've learned that it's hard to know when to give up or whether to keep trying. Sometimes, we forgive people simply because we still want them in our lives. Sometimes, our hearts want someone in our lives, when everything else says otherwise.

I've learned that you need people in your life who support you, love you, and accept you for you.

I've learned that people don't really change.

I've learned that sometimes, people are never really sorry.

I've learned to trust the journey.

I've learned to be at peace with myself and everyone around me.

I've learned that it's more important to value friendships more than your ego.

I've learned that sometimes, no matter what you do, you'll never be good enough for someone. All that matters is that you're good enough for yourself. Self-love is the most important kind of love.

I've learned to stop comparing myself with others, but simply to be a better person than I was yesterday.

I've learned that to find answers, you need to look within yourself, instead of outside of yourself.

I've learned to appreciate everything around me and be present in the moment. This moment is all we have.

I've learned that your mindset really does determine your reality. Positive thinking creates a positive life.

I've learned that I can't control everyone around me. I can give them my opinion, but they will do what they want with it. Sometimes, people have to find out things for themselves.

I've learned that it's okay to express your emotions, to be vulnerable, and it's definitely okay to cry.

I've learned that people value money more than their health.

I've learned that people think progress means destroying the earth.

I've learned that it's okay to do things on your own.

I've learned that most people do what's comfortable, instead of what they love.

I've learned that most people feel they have to go to school and get a high paying job in order to be successful. And those same people will make you feel like you're dreams are impossible. It's those who think they can, that will.

I've learned that there are a million ways to live a happy and successful life. And yes, you can love your job and still be successful to societies standards.

I've learned that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing. This is your journey and they don't have to understand it.

I've learned that the universe is giving you exactly what you need practice in. Sometimes, we have to let go and surrender to what is happening.

I've always known that everything would be okay, but I've learned that sometimes, things don't work out how we thought they would.

And that's okay.

Keep learning, keep growing, keep smiling, and never stop spreading the love.

Love Lisa xo
